Warfare

Word of today is Warfare

Luke 10:19, "Behold I have given unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Lord, today I offer up thunderous praise against the strategy and intentions of the enemy. The attack against me has been fierce, Lord! It sometimes feel like my strength has been weakened. But this morning I feel a new vigor and refreshed commmitment. This day I declare and decree that no weapon formed against me shall proper. I will commmand with the words of the scriptural meditations! The words of GOD are my two edged sword to pierce through the darkness the enemy uses to blanket my life. I will be steadfast in my conviction and determined to stay focused that I may see the plan of the enemy thwarted before my very eyes.(2 Corinthians 2:11) "For we are not ignorant of satan's devices, his trickes." Praise is our weapon, but the word of GOD -JEHOVAH will fight for me and through me. I will gain the victory completely! Glory to GOD! HALLELUJAH! That's the highest praise. Be blessed and use your weapon today.

Courage

Word for today is COURAGE!

Take courage. We walk in the wilderness today and in the promised land tomorrow. (Hebrews 3:6) "Christ is faithful as a son over God's house and we are his house if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast." (Psalm 27:1-3) "The lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? When evil men come to destroy me, they will stumble and fall! Yes though a mighty army marches against me, my heart shall know no fear! I am confident that God will save us." When you are between a rock and a hard place, God will rescue you. Stand still and know that I am God. Ask him to fill you with a spirit of courage. I say trust God in all you do. Know that He got ur back.

Luv u all in Jesus!

The Doubting Tongue

Words of Wisdom

Day 21 of tTming the Tongue

The Doubting Tongue

Mark 11:23 "For assuredly, I SAY TO YOU, whoever say to this mountain be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he say will be done, he will have whatever he says. Psalms 91 "Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day. Though a thousand fall at your side and ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you for God orders his angels to protect us wherever we go." We can't live in fear and doubt. God has not giving us a spirit of fear but power, love and a sound mind.  If we are ever going to tame the tongue of doubting, we must become familiar with the promises of God . Words of doubt come out of an unbelieving heart. Of course, merely knowing the promises of God is not enough; we must become proficient at declaring them. "Faith comes by hearing" (Romans 10:17).

Be Blessed!

Endurance

Endurance

2 Timothy 4: 7-8 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing."

1 Peter 2:20 "But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God."

1 Phillipians 3: 13-14 "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. "

Hebrews 6: 15 "And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised."

1 Corinthians 15:8 "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

James 1:3 "because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance."

Don't give up, but stand firm. God has given us the strength to endure hard times and come through victoriously.  Your triumphs don't depend on you alone. Lean on God and He will help you reach your goals.  Your life is in the palm of God's hands and your future is secure with Him.  God wants to see your dreams realized because He gave them to you. Let God fill you with His spirit of endurance for He fulfilled His course to the end and you will finish yours also.   Jesus is there! Call on Him! They that endure to the end wins.

 Luv u all!

Be blessed today! Don't quit and never Give up on what God put in ur heart to do. He got u! Trust him!

The Loquacious Tongue

Words of wisdom

Day 20 of Taming the Tongue and Renewing your Mind

The Loquacious Tongue

Proverbs 10:19, “When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.”  Have you ever talked to someone who seemed to have diarrhea of the mouth? On and on they go from one topic to another. While it is generally concluded that females have cornered the market on this use of the tongue, men can be guilty too! The Apostle Paul admonished that the proper word for this malady is “loquaciousness”.  It’s just a big word for motor mouth.  I Thessalonians 4:11, “that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands…”,  implies a striving or intense effort. It will take some work to overcome this entrenched habit. Make your talking count to build up, not tear down.  I try to be a woman of few words that don't mean anything but just talk. I love to talk about the goodness of God. Stop looking for negative conversions.  Let's grow up! The bible warns of this, to remember your tongue, fast!

Today’s Affirmation:

When my words are many, sin is not absent, but when I hold my tongue, I am considered wise.
Luv u all! Be blessed in the Lord!

GUIDANCE

Day 18 of Taming the Tongue and Renewing ur Mind

Word of day is (GUIDANCE)

Psalm 48:14, "This GOD is our GOD for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end." (Proverbs16:9) "The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." (Psalm 37:23) "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delighteth in his way." (Psalm 32:8) "I will instruct you says the Lord and guild you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress."  Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."  Psalm 119:105 "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." GOD made the moon as well as the sun; and when he does not see fit to grant us the sunlight, He means for us to guide our steps by moonlight. You have a choice to lean on your own understanding or to trust in GOD. He's calling you to walk by faith and not sight. He has ordered our steps in the way we should go and He will teach us His ways as He walks with us one step at a time. GOD will provide the answer we need and show us which way to turn. He is our guide and helper. Do not choose to go your own way for that is the path of destruction. He will lead you on the path of eternal life. Follow GOD.

Be blessed! Let go and let GOD order ur ever step!

Love u all in JESUS!

The Retaliating Tongue

Day 17 of Taming the Tongue and Renewing Your Mind

The Retaliating Tongue
(1Peter 3:9) "Don't repay evil for evil. Don't retaliate when people say unkind things about you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing.  That is what God wants you to do, and he will bless you for it. There is nothing as easy as verbal retaliation. Of course, the thrll of it is only a fleeting pleasure, for those who love GOD, the remorse for succumbing to this sin tends to linger. Retaliation used to be one of my biggest challenges. Thats why I praise GOD for his Holy Spirit who convicts, guides, and works in me to do his good pleasure. I have made a concious effort in my life to take the high road in every situation in which someone attempts to criticize, diminish,or disparage me in any way. Satan has presented me with many opportunities to practice my desired behavior. While I do not recall an instance of returning a negative reponse directly to someone,  I get the victory when I refuse to dignify the person's remarks with any comments and refrain from discussing the matter with anyone. Sometimes we want people to know or feel our hurt or the wrong being done but GOD told me He got it. Let it all the way go and He will fight it for me. Don't keep reliving the wrong. Satan has tried to taunt me and tried to make me feel like a wimp.  Sometimes u feel like a door mat. I grew up not taking anything from anyone.  I would try make to make u feel the way u made me feel. Give u a dose of ur own treatment. However , as I study the word or GOD, it deals with conflict. Management, the root word "Retaliate"is to return the punishment. The Bible is very clear in admonishing us to avoid retaliation(Romans12:17-19). Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Do your part to live in peace with everyone as much as possible. Dear friends, never avenge youself. Leave that to GOD for it is written, I will take vengenace; I will repay those who deserve it; says the Lord. I know if I strike out it will be because I have ignored the holy spirit and made a decision to take GOD'S job by returing the punishment.  I know I have to stay humble. I have to have a desire to understand other person's behavior and have a commmitment to obey and glorify GOD. Sometimes I DECLARE a "JESUS DAY"-and make every effort on that day to do what Jesus would do and what Jesus would say. Now I know this should be our lifestyle as a child of GOD. However I challenge you to take this up and see your self grow mighty in GOD. Be mindful of the fact that when you decide that it is your personal reponsibility to not avenge the wrongs perpetrated against u, then u have crossed the boundary into forbidden territory.
(Today's Affirmation)
I will not repay evil for evil or insult with insult, but with blessings,so I can be blessed. Unforgiveness and anger is a blessing blocker. You can't affort to have no blessings blocked  so let's get it togeather. Love not hate, peace not war. Tomorrow is not promised so correct ur wrong. Go make up or say u're sorry to someone that may have done u wrong. Just stand up, open ur mouth and be the bigger person. It's not about us but is all about him, JESUS.  He died 4 us, we owe him! Amen
Be blessed! !Love you!
If u r fasting, with us keep praying. U can do it! Watch the results. We win! Stay focused and watch my GOD move!!

The Cynical Tongue

Day 15 of Taming the Tongue and Renewing the Mind

The Cynical Tongue ~  Psalm 1:1

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful." A person who is cynical scorns the motives of others. Cynicism is like venom; it poisons the atmosphere wherever it is present. Resorting to it will also poison your spirit and that of others. Find one cynical employee, parishioner, or family member, and pretty soon those with weaker minds are chiming in and perpetuating the negative conversation. It can wreak hovoc on any relationship and in any environment. Most people have a negative attitude about everything. I find that distancing myself from a cynic person is the best coping strategy. As you proceed on this tongue fast, really begin to observe your comments in various settings and determine if you are being cynical or scornful. Retire from cynicism today.

(Today Affirmation:)

I am blessed because I do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly nor stand in the way of sinner nor sit in the seat of the scornful.

Be blessed this year!
